I founded The Loving Heart Foundation in 2022 with a simple goal to create something more lasting than a one-time donation. For children growing up in rural Vietnamese orphanages, time, knowledge, and compassion are scarce commodities. When we first began, we worked with just two orphanages, organizing small groups of volunteers to teach trade skills, help with homework, and spend meaningful time with the children. What started as a local effort of shared afternoons and storytelling has now grown into a network supporting five orphanages across Vietnam.

Today, The Loving Heart Foundation also includes five volunteer hubs, based in both Vietnam and the U.S., where students and community members help contact donors, organize fundraisers, and gather educational resources to send abroad. Every contribution, whether a few hours of tutoring or a book drive, is part of a larger vision to give these children the same opportunities as their peers. The funds we raise go directly toward repairing facilities, buying books, and installing Wi-Fi so that students can learn at the national level. I helped design a core curriculum to support this mission, ensuring that each child we reach doesn’t just receive help, but gains the tools and confidence to build their own future.
Since its founding, The Loving Heart has been recognized nationally for its grassroots service and commitment to expanding educational access across rural Vietnam. Our efforts have received multiple awards for community impact and innovation in youth-led services.
